Sharing those cute photos of little ones on social media with friends and family is fun, and a great way to stay connected.
It seems harmless, but the new tech term “sharenting” is about to change the way parents look at uploading photos and information about their kids.
“Sharenting” is defined as the use of social media by parents to share content based on their children.
How can you practice the safe sharing of your family pictures on Social Media?

Avoid using names, locations, and extra information like medical conditions.
Make sure your personal account is private.
Use the back of kids’ heads in pictures, leave their faces out of pictures, or cover faces with emojis.
Some posts can be embarrassing to kids. Avoid posting topics or adding pictures of personal situations.
