Unique Holiday Activities Your Teenagers Will Love

Teen Holiday Activities
Ding Dong Dash! Teens can leave a treat on the porch of friends. Add a note to the recipient to keep the fun going by doing the same for their friends. Don’t forget to wave at the Ring camera!
Let teens plan a progressive dinner with friends. Check with parents to make sure they are in to help host part of the dinner!
Plan to go on a sleigh ride or a horse and carriage ride.
Take turns hiding the old Elf on a Shelf for others to find. Hang him from the chandelier, buckle him into your teen’s car, or have him rest in your kid’s sock drawer? See the fun places your teens find to hide them!
Spice it up! Does your teen have a great idea for a new family tradition? Or maybe they found a new cookie recipe to try? Would they like to plan a family holiday event? Tell them to go for it!
Keep some holiday hats and photo booth props for holiday selfies with friends or grandma!
Adopt a needy family and spend the day shopping for them and wrapping the gifts! Grab some lunch or coffee with your teen(s) while you are out!
Suggest to your teen to decorate their room for the holidays. Maybe that will inspire them to clean things up!
If you have an artist or doodler, suggest that they design some postcards for birthdays and holidays for the upcoming year.
Use those phone cameras to take daily short videos or pictures and create a memory video at the end of holidays.
Begin a bucket list of activities for the New Year!

Game time! Here are some fun games for teens…
Online games are a ton of fun to play as a family or for teens to play with friends. We have used Jackboxgames.com and played the stand-alone games Drawful 2 and Quiplash. Most of their games are rated T for Teens, but they do have a setting that can be adjusted down to age 9+ if needed.
Bring out the holiday puzzles, team up and have a tournament to see which team can complete their puzzle first.
Think outside of the box, like going Dog Sledding or ice fishing! Live in a warmer climate? How about a Christmas Boat Parade like this one in Newport Beach, California?
Photo scavenger hunt at the mall. How many snowmen can they find? Or send them a list of holiday treasures to find! Have a prize for the winner!
Sign up for a class at a local recreation center! Pottery anyone?
